Finding my passion…

If you’re a new friend, welcome. If you’re an old friend, welcome back. I’ve been absent from this space for several years, and I’m on a mission to rediscover what truly brings me passion.

Over the years, I’ve been a working mom, an Etsy mom, a blogging mom, and most currently, stay at home mom. While there is no doubt that “Mom” is truly the hat I know in my heart I was meant to wear, I think all parents can agree that we also deserve something for just ourselves as well. It’s easy to get swept up in the day to day of parenting, and your own passions can get tucked in the back of the closet with the outgrown baby clothes that you just can’t seem to part with.

In just a few short months, I will have a fourth grader and a Kindergartener, (I’m not crying, you’re crying) and it’s time to remind myself that the creative parts of me that have felt forgotten are just waiting somewhere to be loved again. Whether you’re in the trenches new parenting with an infant, or you’re a mom to teens, or perhaps even an empty nester, I think we can all relate to that.

Allow me to reintroduce myself

I’m Cassandra, a Millennial and self-diagnosed ADHD mom of two girls. I cuss a little, and read a lot (mostly spicy romance novels, but who’s keeping track?) I love photography, crafting, and creating, and gift giving is how I show my love. I’m not much of a chef, but I’ve convinced myself I’m a gardener. I’ve got anxiety, and I lose my car keys daily. I adore Summer, but Fall in Vermont might be my favorite.

As I stumble my way through reinvigorating my blog, I plan to share crafty projects, kids’ activities, creative gift ideas, cute (or sassy) printables, and maybe more. Who knows where the wind take me!

I can’t promise this blog will stay in one lane, but I *can* promise that I will share a lot of fun and creative ideas as I continue my mission to find my passion and joy. I encourage you to never stop searching for yours as well!

xo, Cassandra
